Two NEZ tickets and a relatively cheap parking pass across from Vet school are about $300 per game this season if you include the tradition fund cost. It's somewhat expensive, but since I drive there and back home the day of the game it's not too bad.

I gave up my NEZ tickets 5 years ago. They aren't worth the investment. This year every home game except maybe Auburn you can sit anywhere in the stadium you won't for pennies. Arkansas and A&m will be $30 tickets. Syracuse, Troy, Chattanooga will be $1 tickets. If Auburn is a day game then even t that game will be well below face value. There is no reason to spend $700 a year on tickets when this year you could go to every game for under $130.

Worst home schedule since I have had tickets. Loss of Florida game is huge. The reality is you can cancel this. Season and get better tickets next year. Having BYU game in Houston is a slap in the face as well.

The great thing is after lsu fleeces it's season ticket holders for TAF fees it puts the crap games on groupon for nothing.

Y'all act like this is something unique to LSU. It's not. It's a nationwide trend. The arms race costs more and more money every year. Ticket prices and surcharges go up, and it becomes prohibitively expensive for families. Combine that with the rise of digital high definition television, as well as a stagnant economy, and it's a recipe for decline. It's the very definition of a bubble. Just like with the price of gas, people will only pay so much before they change their habits. This won't end well for the universities. It will take a few years, but the bubble will burst.

Attendance is down throughout the SEC even at Alabama. The cost is one thing and just the mess around it. Believe or not, LSU is one of the more inexpensive tickets in the SEC.
For the record, LSU does have a home and home with Texas in 2019-2020

Had my sez seats for 22 yrs gave them up this year. Have to have parking pass, chair backs, traffic, tailgateing not like it was 10 yrs ago, lack of excitement overall around the whole program, easy to get tickets online for one or two games, and my house has a/c and lots of cold beer and no shitty food. Need to cut the head off the snake to save lsu athletics. Aleva and Alexander would be a great start

I kept my SEZ seats for another year but I almost let them go. Parking is the biggest issue. Gone are the days when you can drive up 20-30min before the game find a spot on campus and take your seat just before kickoff.
Not everyone wants to spend 12-16hrs for every home game on campus especially with the shitty schedules these past years...

Would be shocked if it ever happens. We had a home and home with Oklahoma too. New coach... they all end up canceling.
BTW what are you using to compare ticket prices? Bama,AU and A&M were the only ones i knee were higher

BTW i love how those seatbacks are STILL 60 dollars for 6 games when it was 60 for 7 last year. Even though we only played 6. Just another way the fans get fricked.
Want to fix part of the problem? Bring back the old tailgating. This charge past a demakation line BS needs to end.

I finally gave up my 2 season tickets in sec 415 S.end zone. Had them for 20 yrs and decide to let them go. My boys don't wont to go rather watch the games on tv. It was hard to do but glad i did it. It got to the point where i felt like i was going to work when i went to the games. Fighting traffic, money, hot, terrible games ect...

Does ANYONE, really believe the home/homes vs. Texas,UCLA and OK will actually happen ?

So Auburn is the one big home game? How in the world did this schedule happen?

Our dear leader gave into UF last year

Sections should be divided linear inches one occupies on the bench. When you stack a family of 6 lardos together they spread into the entire row. This could be a safety issue. Even Jerry Poche couldn't save someone killed by that crush.

I think we are all a little bummed by the lack of quality opponents at home this year. However, we have the same kinds of discussion every year around this time. Trust me, the season tickets will still sell out and the stadium/parking lots will still be crowded. Our fanbase is strong as hell compared to most.

Looking at the season ticket selection map, the only sections that don't have a tradition fee are in the East uppers and a small section in the west upper
$210 is the lowest tradition fee in the South endzone

The idea that only Auburn is a good home game is dumb. ANY SEC team playing in TS is a good home game. Arkansas and Texas A&M are ever bit as good of home games as Auburn.
And ACC Syracuse is a good home game as well.
The bad home games are Chattanooga and Troy.

yeah I had 8 season tix in WU. i have had season tickets since 1998. cut them in half and dropped 4. Depending on future prices and circumstances I may let them all go. tailgating was great back in 01, 02, 03. Remember the stadium experience has changed greatly since then also. it is becoming morre and more corporatized. times are rough. people are finally saying screw it. Now i love my parking pass but yeah it is tough now if you want free parking. You had best get there very early. Plus the traffic really went to shite in 2012 if i recall correctly starting with that carolina game. That was the worst i can remember.
