From the responses so far; you can't name a better live band.

Every now and then I will get on a SCI kick, and listen to 10-20 shows over a couple month period.
I am partial to 2002, as I have had, for years, a bunch of the 2002 shows on their "On the Road" series CDs.

That was cute when Panic let them open for them. JB saved their set
Honestly though, I ate a moderate dosage of mushrooms (or so I thought) and saw them in Atlanta '99 and walked out of there convinced they were the greatest band of all time.
Have they given up on the EDM phase? Give me more "bluegrass" bc they were embarrassingly bad the last few times I've seen them.

Never seen them live. But 3 weeks ago met a local Kauai DJ on Anini Beach named Tina B. She knows that Bill Nershi dude and his wife real good. Said they bought a condo at Anchor Cove in Lihue 2 years ago and rent it out when not there. Been a good investment she says. That's all I got about SCI. Bye.

I saw them on a nice bit of shrooms last year at Red Rocks Friday and Saturday night. Thought they were both pretty balanced shows. I think they know Colorado loves the bluegrass Cheese. Friday night was an eye opener for live music for me last year. Great group of friends, great seats, and great Cheese.
I love listening to their music, but I'm a bluegrass fan and end up just listening to all their old bluegrass jams. Long as they don't get too weird, I enjoy the electronic stuff as well. Don't think I'd go see them at Electric Forest. But I almost drove 7 hours from Steamboat to Telluride this winter when they announced a free mountain top concert.
