Damn, TCU seems to get all of the LSU players that lack the chest to be tigers. They're getting all of our leftovers. They got john diarse last year and now they want wilie allen? If anything, this proves that TCU isn't on the level that LSU is.

You have to really be blind to take this stance. How could you look at those situations and think there were no issues in the way they were handled?

Ree, that is a genuinely stupid notion.

You talking to Ree or Rex? You had Ree in your post but replied to Rex.

If Ree, what is "stupid"?

The band stuff? The kicking the shite out of teams and coaches trying to F with LSU? The free publicity?

Also, I am still waiting on your response in the "Watching the SEC Summer Football Tour" thread.

Not if TCU was trying to recruit him while he was on LSU's roster.

Now you see why we have reason to stop that trend. Let's say Willie gets there and likes it, he'll try to pull others.

frick it, door is closed, don't even ask.

You don't know shite. There is always going to be issues. Quit being a pussy. LSU is TCU's God.

Weaker kids want and need to leave. That is all.

I say any player that doesn't want to be a tiger let them geaux where ever they want. There are enough good players out there that want to be here.

Does anyone think Allen would have competed for playing time in a few years at TCU?

No, you simply have to be an LSU fan and agree with their stance to not have a team from the B12 recruiting LSU's current backup players - promising them starting jobs if they transfer.

How would you handle it?

Maybe: "Hey TCU, we know you were recruiting this guy during the time he was enrolled here saying he could start for your team and that he would sit the bench his whole career at LSU. But hey, he can transfer to you if you like". "Can we bend over for you on anything else? We will, all you have to do is ask".

I'm sure that's what you want to see happen. Good luck with that shite. Coach O ain't taking shite from nobody. Including the dwarf two states to the East.

I am firmly against stopping kids from transferring wherever they would like. I think it is hypocritical....... but if you know that a school has been doing what it looks like TCU has been doing then I think I am ok with what he is doing regarding them.

frick TCU. We are not their pipeline.

LSU wasted time, energy, and resources on this kid that could have been spent elsewhere.

If LSU thinks that TCU is benefiting too much from this (i.e. Diarse last year, Allen this year), then they have the right to shut down another TCU transfer.

It also sends the message to the team that there's no golden parachute to TCU should you not cut it at LSU.

Do I care about the best interests of this player? No. He's not on LSU's team anymore. LSU first. LSU always. Period.

I want LSU to be a national brand, not a state or regional. I could care less about a fence around the state. I want the best players in the country that want to be tigers no matter where they are from. If others want to come in and get state players more power to them, we should have done a better job of selling LSU to them.

When you sign your commitment you should honor it. Besides TCU was making contact without asking permission and you can't have teams doing that!
