When things looked their darkest, there came a miracle.
God bless you Brett Farve for throwing over the middle.
Do you think that play still haunts Viking fans?

To this day, no other sporting event has made me scream, pace like a madman, rock on the edge of my seat, yank at my hair and just bring me to the near point of a breakdown like that game did. I have never watched a replay of the whole thing, I don't think I ever could even knowing how it turns out. 2009 was a very magical year but I am convinced that game took years off my life.

Saints got their arse whooped that game. Goes to show how much a couple of plays define a game.

It does but they're still much more traumatized by the NFC Championship loss to Atlanta a decade earlier. That game was absolutely theirs for the taking, then Gary Anderson gets the yips for the first time all year.

I'll never forget what a Vikings fan told me after the Saints beat them in the NFC Championship game..."we're more cursed than the New Orleans Saints. How bad is THAT?"

There are moments where I'm still shocked and surprised as hell that we actually won that game. Minny was kicking our asses all over the field, moving the ball up and down and scoring points and we got lucky with a bunch of turnovers at the right time and great field position at the end.

It was a tougher game to win than the Super Bowl against the Colts.

Minnesota fans eternally hate the Saints because of that game. Especially since they think we cheated because of that BS "bounty gate".

The Vikings were the best team that year by a good amount. The Saints played hell of a game.

This is one of my favorite games where I have no rooting interest.

Greatest game ever. The March from my seats to poydras to bourbon was amazing.

The superbowl was fun to watch. The NFC Championship in the Dome was an entirely different experience.
