Happens every year. Despite all of the publicity, people still do not enter.

Same thing happens in Texas. Two reds caught that did not qualify for first 5 grand prizes of F150 with 23' boat attached -$90k prize!

I do not and will not ever enter for the simple fact that the CCA is a crock of shite organization that pockets tons of sportsman money and does not and has not done shite that is worth while is justification of the amount of money they have taken in. It is a racket of bullshitt politics and if you have donated your part of the problem. Just sayin

I agree that they don't do shite but tag along once someone writes a bill supporting a cause but I still sign up to try and win a prize. Just another gamble. Way I see it is L'auberge takes a whole lot of my gambling money and I only win some of the time and they don't do shite for me so might as well try and win a boat.

And that is a big 10-4 choupic. Without the GCCA, the trout and reds would have been decimated by now. I always enter the Star, just in case. Glad that a tagged red was not caught around Grand Isle, as this coming weekend looks great for fishing.

I usually register but haven't yet this year. I fish the eastern Biloxi marsh, damn near in Mississippi. I doubt they tag that far east

No kidding. My last three trips down to the camp have been accompanied by 20-30 mph winds.

If you fish Lake Pontchartrain you will know that's bullshite. They have spend a ton of money on building reefs and took over the fish tracking and tagging program. Landrieu has fricked the CCA with the renovation of the the new boat launch, fishing pier, and rock reefs projects he has held up for two years
