dude, Boulder fricking sucks. The scenery is really cool, but everyone I met there I wanted to kill within seconds.

One. Just got it a couple years ago. Everyone claimed they didn't want it and people picket in front all the time but it stays packed.

I dropped my buddy off at this Wal Mart a couple of weeks ago to get some cash back because The Farm is across the street and they only accept cash.

This wasn't even a full-blown Walmart - it was one of the Neighborhood Markets.
Congrats on sticking it to the man.

About 70 employees in Boulder will be given the option to transfer to a nearby store.

From Google maps it looks like they carried their asses 10 miles from the center of Boulder and opened 2 stores. Congrats.

Never heard of a Walmart closing.

"Our customers want to shop when and how they want (and) we need to make sure we're providing that right blend of e-commerce offerings and physical stores."
This sounds like a bunch a fluff once you read this.

Hatfield said axing the Boulder store was an "isolated event" — no other closures are planned at this time.

how many Walmarts does your city have?
There are 0 here, but one in Kalispell. The next closest one is Polson, then Missoula.

Good Lord you're so pathetic.
And there are no Wal Marts in my city.

Keep Colorado pure, local and entirely for the upper crust of America! Save the whales, frick the poors, here's to the centennial state!

My continent doesn't have a Wal-Mart.

Where do the People of Walmart shop now?
Posted on 5/25/17 at 3:21 pm to HippieTiger
I used to hate Wal Mart too, but God help us if amazon keeps growing

I don't think there is a single WM inside the city limits of Seattle. A couple in the suburbs. I manage to do just fine without them.

The new one in Decatur, Ga is swank. It's the least trashy wm I've ever been in. I shop there every week without shame. I saw some old lesbos there the other day with a Stop Wal-Mart bumper sticker. They were shopping. F the haters.

I'd choose to live and love in the great American city of Ragley over the homosexual commie hotbed of Boulder any day of the week.

Pics of the Boulder Walmart protesters back in 2013.
I thought the protesters were people that didn't want it in their neighborhood. That happened in Eagle River, AK. Walmart had to put a dirt mound, hedges and trees all around the store so you couldn't see it from the street. The Boulder protesters were union workers.

Surprising. I'd have guessed with legal pot 24-hour stores that sell a variety of cheap food would dominate.
