It's crazy to think about how good Tebow would've been if he had chosen baseball. I thought no way in hell he would even be ok in the minor leagues. He can't be any worse than Granderson has been this year.

I figure a reasonable goal would be to get at bats in spring training wearing actual mets uni.
He gets hot and called up next year he will get to pinch hit , maybe DH in a inter league game.

I don't know why people have to be so negative about someone going after something and trying to make something happen.
Many people here are like that cliche character in movies that keep telling the main character that they'll never amount to anything and they should quit and give up.
It baffles me why people who go after something they want get such a bitter reaction out of people.

Eh, I'm not a tebow hater at all but anyone has to admit the dude brings the spotlight to himself whether good or bad. I don't blame him one bit, if anything he does a great job of keeping himself in the spotlight and keeping that endorsement money flowing in. It's his life and he has 'F U money' so he can do as he pleases.
He's up there with the Kardashians as someone who does a great job staying in the limelight with the fewest actual accomplishments, but again good for him. They are both 1%ers so good for them, but don't cry about the negative pub because that's part of their career.
Good for Tebow for doing fairly well considering his age and lack of playing time for many years, but I don't think you can ignore the fact that he got the chance because of the publicity and fans he draws in. But so far he's probably one of the best investments the Mets have made in the past 5 years.
He's gotta be far and away the highest selling jersey of any minor leaguer right? I can't imagine it's close, like him being higher than almost every other player combined?

He may be older but He's got less reps as a baseball player than all of his teammates. Definitely impressive for him to be one of the better hitters on the team
