Also he has advantages his teammates don't have, like already being a millionaire and living in a big arse house because he doesn't have to work another day in his life again

These other dudes are scrapping together pennies to support families and keep their dream alive, AND trying to hit a baseball.

They have been getting him out. A 700 OPS in low A ball is okay for a 19 year old. For a man 10 years older, it's horrendous.

The age factor applies to guys who have been playing baseball the whole time. It's a skill sport so the more reps the better. His age is irrelevant because he hasn't been playing.

Because he will not admit he is too selfish to not play qb, or he could be in the NFL.

Yea bc anybody who has tebows size and athleticism could play NFL TE. How many college basketball players have tried that move and failed miserably? Those guys must have been too selfish being college hoops players to become millionaire NFL players.

Isn't "call-up" reserved for getting called up to the Majors? I have never heard someone being "called-up" to single A ball.

Your title is misleading and on par with shitty click bait journalism

Nope...I've got his career move pegged.

Tim Tebow will be the biggest action star in Christian/Family Friendly films. Might even create it's own genre. Think about it. That demo already loves him...just look at any thread that dares say anything that isn't completely glowing about the guy. He's good looking, in great shape, big... You don;t need to be some fantastic actor to be a decent action star, and he's already decent on camera.

Instead of still trying to hit curve balls the guy ought to be taking acting lessons.

Age is irrelevant for pitchers. Guys get converted into the mound when they're in their 20s all the time. For a position player, age is very relevant. If Tebow cared so much about playing baseball and trying to make it to the big leagues, why didn't he try playing four years ago when he was 25? The odds would have still been stacked against him but there's been guys like Ron LeFlore who started playing minor league baseball at that age and were able to make it. At age 29, it's a complete waste of time. Why not play independent ball if Tebow wants to get his baseball fix in? Oh wait, that would never happen because Tebow wouldn't be getting the attention that he so desperately craves.

He won an NFL playoff game. There's a number of current NFL QBs that would probably kill for that accomplishment.

He's up there with the Kardashians as someone who does a great job staying in the limelight with the fewest actual accomplishments, but again good for him. They are both 1%ers so good for them, but don't cry about the negative pub because that's part of their career. Good for Tebow for doing fairly well considering his age and lack of playing time for many years, but I don't think you can ignore the fact that he got the chance because of the publicity and fans he draws in. But so far he's probably one of the best investments the Mets have made in the past 5 years. He's gotta be far and away the highest selling jersey of any minor leaguer right? I can't imagine it's close, like him being higher than almost every other player combined? This post was edited on 5/13 at 8:21 am

Nobody is buying minor league jerseys. They could 50 with his name and he'd lead the minors. The Mets are making millions by selling tickets to A games. They may get talked in the news when Tebow does something but the Mets aren't making a bunch a money off Tebow.

National Champ QB in college.
Playoff game winner in the NFL.
Does very well in broadcasting
Then at 29 decides to go ride shitty busses around all summer long playing ball games that nobody gives a shite about in front of a couple thousand (on a great night) for peanuts. Anyone that can't say something good about this guy has some kind of issue within themselves.

Go on, Timmy!

Better-looking, better athlete, wealthier than you, and , if he wanted, could pull better-looking women than you.

You're just pissed he's not falling on his face.
