I finally broke down a couple of weeks ago and started watching it. I have to admit, its pretty good. I'm on season 5 now and its getting kind of strange. But maybe it rebounds. I like that they really never center on one character and give eveybody their own momments. Its still on regular tv, right? Does it get bad?

I started a few weeks ago. I'm midway through the first season.
I am really enjoying the show. Kind of reminds me of Friends.

It is similar, but more guy focused. Which is a huge positive. I'm not a big Schmidt fan, but he redeems himself quite often. Winston is my favorite and reminds me alot of Chandler. Not as sarcastic, but just kind of his own guy with his strange quirks..

Nick Miller is one of the GOAT sitcom characters. One of the few that I actually laugh out loud to the stuff he does. His relationship with the mute Japanese man, Tran, gets me everytime!!

I love the show, despite not really liking any of the characters at all. It's something I decided to check out on NF one day, and I caught up pretty quickly and really enjoyed the show. And now I watch it as it airs.
It gets strange at times, and the characters have grown on me a little. But mostly they all just annoy the shite out of me, despite me really liking the show a lot. I have a weird relationship with it.

Me too. At the beginning I thought Schmidt was the funniest character, then Nick for a little while, then Winston for the last few seasons.

I watched from the beginning and the show picked up steam when the new girl was not the focus of the story. That happened after the first season.

I loved this show, but it got really stale for me around Season 4 or 5, can't remember which one. Nick is my favorite with Schmidt being a close runner up.

"Well what's permanent press?" Fake button. Nobody uses it.

Winston by far is my favorite character.

Prank Sinatra!!!
Winston has become the funniest and he was completely meh in the beginning. Schmidt has his moments, but it's a bit try hard for me sometimes. But it is usually pretty funny. Nick can be funny, but misses a lot. I used to crush hard on Zooey Deschenel, and this show changed that. I don't hate her, but I certainly couldn't care less about the character.

I've said it before Winston comes into his own once he gets Ferguson

When I first watched it I had a huge crush on her as well. After watching her whiney immature character I just associated the real Zoey with that and lost my crush. Lol. I still think she's hot though.

Jess is awful.
Schmidt is hilarious, but he would benefit from being used a little less in main storylines.
Nick is the most consistent character throughout the series. He's hilarious, stable, and you can easily center a season around him.
Winston started off pretty badly, but is a tour de force in the later seasons.
CeeCee has her moments, but the whole storyline of her being a bartender was stupid.
Coach was funny, but it was weird how he just kinda got put back in for a couple of seasons, and then removed.
Funny sitcom, but losing steam. I gotta give them credit though, they realized extremely quickly Jess does not work as the extreme centerpiece and they quickly expanded to a group type show.
