He's better than Fraley and Fraley was the last pick of round 1.

3 or 4 but won't go past 5
Possibly late second

First rounders get millions
GD does not have the track record

If I'm wrong good for him, but I'll be shocked.

He's currently the 83rd ranked college prospect according to baseball America so I'd guess anywhere from 3rd to 5th round.

Consensus among scouts is 4th or 5th. I'm not a scout, but that sounds reasonably accurate to me.

There has been a lot of arguments about where he will finish based on what he is doing now. If you take into consideration his tool set, this kid can easily be a first rounder compensatory pick.

He has a
plus plus arm
Plus plus speed
Has gotten a lot better fielding - I think RF is a perfect position for him.
Power is excellent - mph off the bat, etc.
he has grown tremendously in hitting for average especially against lefties. He is driving the ball the opposite way. That is just starting for him.

Based on his tools, he is the riskiest pick, but could reap the most rewards early.

Is he better than Jacoby Jones? Mahtook? Maybe both of those guys with another year if he has improvement like this past season. Just needs more work and an organization that has some patience to allow him to mature as a player.

Round 2

Today's college bats are very similar to wood in the way power translates from one level to the next.

Greg's a true 5 tool player, he won't last too long.

My completely off the cuff uneducated opinion says rounds 5-10. He's got big league power and is a pretty good athlete
