I went to whole foods at 11 to pick up some ribs and the guy said someone called in and they're about a couple of hours behind.

Will try back next wk.

Pit n Peel's sausage is great. The brisket is just ok.

Barbosa needs to open a brick and mortar place up. They know exactly what they are doing.

bumping to highlight this. This dude made the brisket for Deuce Pigalow, and I rated it the best of the 13 I tasted in the brisket competition. Look for Barbosa BBQ around Baton Rouge.

Check out Barbosas BBQ.

He's one of the Deuce Pigalow Chefs.

His Facebook video is going viral right now of him slicing a brisket @ hogs this weekend.

Stop by your local AAA and pick up a TripTik to a city that has decent BBQ.

Podnah's on Airline. Great sides and good ribs. Pulled pork and smoked sausage are solid too.

No, he's doing more of a pop-up type operation at various places around the city. You just gotta hit up his Facebook to find out where he's going to be. Lately, it seems that he's been doing a good bit with the folks over at Tin Roof and Overpass Merchant.
