Variety magazine will bestow former first daughter Chelsea Clinton with a 'lifetime' achievement award next month for her philanthropic work.

The Hollywood trade magazine said Tuesday that Clinton, 37, is being honored for her work on Alliance for a Healthier Generation, a charity founded by her family's foundation to fight childhood obesity.
