After watching Tucker in this recent episode I have a question

He was arguing with a guy on how someone's gender is determined and the guy said we can identify our own gender so if that's the case and a case Tucker was trying to make is what's to stop men from joining and competing in woman's sports?
We know biologically men in most cases are physically better athletes so what happens when we go down the rabbit hole of allowing men to compete in woman's sports? Is this something that feminist want? I get that currently we are just discussing who can piss and poop in which restroom but the ramifications of saying someone can identify as whatever they so desire rejecting biological science which we currently use to create divisions among men and woman for competitive balance.
What's everyone's stance on this? I keep hearing that it's a civil rights issue however what about the rights of the people who don't agree with being able to identify as whatever you want?

I think this transgender issue is one where liberals have lost their minds.

The least important question on gender dysphoria is sports.

When progressives sacrifice fact and reason for ideology they take a gigantic leap toward totalitarian thinking. If they are unwilling to accept fact because it violated their psyches, they are dabbling in delusion and abnormal psychology. All reinforced by group-think.

He kept conflating sex and gender but other than that he made some good points.

I don't know any transgender people, but I do know what they call nowadays an intergender person, or a hermaphrodite, having both a penis and a vagina. I have sympathy for these people because they were born this way and their confusion as to their gender is understandable if you have both sex organs.
I don't know him/her well enough to ask biological questions like which hole does the pee come out of or stuff like that. I do know that he/she can't have kids. He looks like a man but he does have small female breasts. Ive never seen which bathroom he chooses, but I think he would be accepted in either one as he looks like a man but has the small breasts of a woman. No one would ask questions.
When I first met him he identified as a man and then a year after he switched to female with no discernible change in behavior, mannerisms, or demeanor. I have a hard time remembering which pronoun to use when speaking about him/her in his presence, but when I mess up she never gets offended or anything, just ignores it.

One thing I'll say is that mental illness is everywhere you want to find it. Maybe it's always been this way, but it certainly is now.
Gender dysphoria or whatever the hell you call it is certainly further out there than anxiety or depression, but it's not my business what strangers out there are feeling. Beyond that, I hope people get help and aren't miserable.
This became a public concern because progressives made it one. They shouldn't have promoted Bruce Jenner, they shouldn't push/legislate acceptance of mental disorders, and of course they shouldn't fabricate a crisis over bathrooms to which the solution is advertising to males (who may or may not feel like women, for all we know) that they are welcome in female bathrooms.
It woke people up to the reality that the opinion makers were going to keep introducing new and more outlandish standards by which one was going to be judged. If you can't be a "good" person unless you accept obvious mental problems as aok, then frick it, burn it down.

When a person blames the doctor at birth who "assigned him/her a gender", that is the issue.
If you believe in God, your gender was assigned by him/her. If you don't share that view, then nature assigned you a gender. There are cases where nature either did not give a person all or incomplete physical items to be a gender, but body chemistry can help there also.
When a person has to depend on voluntary surgery to change the physical gender and voluntary supplements and chemicals to change internal gender, then that person is messed up. A society that supports the easy way out (i.e. cut this and take pill) is only making it worse.
You are not a special snowflake. Life is not fair.

The LBGTXYZ population is less than 4% of the population in the USA. In a recent poll, Americans thought they made up 23% of the population. This is because all you ever hear about are gays and trannies. The number of Americans that admit to have had sex with an animal is twice that (8%) of LBGQT community. Where is the outcry for their rights to marry their pets?

Sex is different from gender.
But on this issue my party loses me a bit.

Would Chris Cuomo or any other liberal be tolerant of someone rubbing shite in their hair before they left the house? How about if a co-anchor dressed as a clown everyday because they identified as a clown?

The greatest line in that whole discussion was when his whacko guest accused Tuck of using pseudo science

How about if a man identifies as a woman,to land a cushy govt. job?

Like everything else the DIMprogs push, it only works one way - they can use it to advance an agenda, but any other application of the same definitions is bigoted, hateful, ____phobic.

It's not a two way street with feminists and sports. They want women to be allowed to compete with men but they don't want men to compete with women.
Example... The Colorado soccer girl who made the football team as a kicker was widely celebrated. When they put her in a game for an extra point she kicked her own center in the butt. She was cut. She sued because of sex discrimination.
OTOH... Under Title IX a school has to allow women to join the men's team if there is no woman's team. A HS did not enough boys for a baseball team so the 4 boys sued under Title IX to play fastpitch girls softball. They won and became the stars.
In the semi finals of the state championships a boy was on 3rd tagging up to score on a short fly to left. The girl opponent catcher blocked the plate and caught the throw. The boy runner sent her flying into the next county. She had to be carried off the diamond. The feminists had a cow and got the ruling banned.

what happens when we go down the rabbit hole
You may have inadvertently coined a better name for the Dimocratic party, the Rabbit Hole party or better yet the Slippery Slope party because all their progressive BS policies always leads to a rabbit hole or slippery slope.
