Dude can stroke the 3 ball. Is big enough to play the 3 and 4 spots. Man if we could just grab a 2 guard that is worth a crap we will be deadly

I disagree on your last statement
what they need is a pass first PG now
your two guard is already on the roster and playing at a very high level

I still think Stephenson could be the answer if he and Cousins can co-exist. Two talented but volatile dudes right there.

I would be very surprised if Casspi ever suits up for us.

Jrue is perfect for this lineup, he's shown that he can easily be a great pass first point guard and he has the ability to score

With Jrue's ability to get to the goal and shoot from outside, he will be forcing help all the time from big defenders, which will bring about lobs to Cousins and AD like CP3 did to Tyson Chandler hopefully

The only reason to include Galloway in the trade was to have enough salary to get Casspi too. I think they could have gotten a better return on dumping Galloway than including him in this trade unless they actually wanted Casspi.

Considering he forced a buyout last time he was traded for by us, I would still be surprised if he sticks. Galloway is being bought out as well

based off what he does against the Pelicans everytime we play him, he's pretty good.

Because he knows that Aminu / Asik / Maker won't play with him. Its not his fault - we need to move Asik.

Casspi is a decent piece back and we wanted him cause we tried to sign him in free agency and he turned us down for the kings lol. Im pretty sure demos wanted him in the trade and that he will play especially if they trade Terrance jones

I wonder if he has cooled it with his politics.

In the past there were reports that teammates couldn't stand him because he was extremely politically outspoken (Israel) and rubbed a lot of people the wrong way.

From what I remember during the Asik trade Houston wanted/needed to include him, we weren't interested and waived him and then his agent came out and said he didn't want to play for the Pels to save face.

Let me tell y'all about Omri Casspi. He can shoot an open 3 decently. He might hit an open 3 and then the next time he touches the ball he does something stupid.

He's a player that will fill space on your roster and put a body on the floor if there is nobody else available... he's not someone who is going to be much of a positive addition. He's not necessarily awful like he's going to hurt your team, but what I'm saying is just don't expect much.
