Just watched a few minutes of their show. The evening news that is. Would not call him president. Funny.

It's almost as if they question his authenticity or validity...how shocking a concept.
This is the best reality show on tv.

I recall a lot of "Mr. Obamas" being thrown around the past 8 years and it always made me cringe. It's petty for either side.

The leftists continue to embarrass themselves at every turn. It's so enjoyable to watch.

We're doing this again?
(NPR) "A number of listeners have written in recent weeks complaining that NPR reporters refer to President Obama as "Mr. Obama." Since the mid-1970s it has been NPR's policy to refer to the president as "Mr." instead of "President" on second reference. Below is an explanatory column slightly updated from 2009. We invite you to share your thoughts in the comments section."
(NYT) Last month, Mr. Obama issued Mr. Udin a pardon — one of just 148 pardons the president has granted during his two terms in office. It is an abysmally low number for a president who has stressed his commitment to second chances and the importance of helping convicted people re-enter society.
(different NYT - there are hundreds of articles) Last Friday, seven days before his departure from the White House, Mr. Obama sat down in the Oval Office and talked about the indispensable role that books have played during his presidency and throughout his life — from his peripatetic and sometimes lonely boyhood, when “these worlds that were portable” provided companionship, to his youth when they helped him to figure out who he was, what he thought and what was important.

"Mr." is a proper way to address a president.

Outrage? Look elsewhere, sir.

In Scott Pelley's opening monologue tonight he called him President Trump. The local news had just ended and the CBS news had just started.
Posted on 2/10/17 at 6:19 pm to OTIS2
They've done that for Bush and Obama too.
Posted on 2/10/17 at 6:20 pm to OTIS2
Dan Rather did that with Bush for years.
Posted on 2/10/17 at 6:25 pm to OTIS2
Seriously? O'Reilly called him Mr Trump to his face during the Sunday interview.
Posted on 2/10/17 at 6:28 pm to OTIS2
This is nothing new mini media outlets use the term Mr. interchangeably with President. Much ado about nothing .

You are exactly right. Perfectly normal and standard as long as its the 2nd reference in the story

They also did that with Reagan. If they mean it as a way to demean then they are being petty. Doesn't make Trump any less the president.

When Lester Holt starts calling him Massa Trump, then you got a story.

Fox news rarely said President Obama.
President Trump is President Trump forever, as well as every other man elected to the office.
