Scruffy you used to be one of the reasonable posters on here but you've gone completely off the rails recently.
Only in response to the complete and utter insanity pushed by the leftists.

I've had family members call family members racist because of this damn election.

All the hatred, rage, and utter contempt that leftists have for their opposition is disgusting and infuriating.

I didn't even vote for Trump and I don't even like him, but god damn the absolute bullshite the media is pushing is abysmal. Anonymous sources. Not a single positive article by any of these major papers? Hell, you have a recent article stating that having the DOW over 20,000 doesn't mean anything positive now that Trump is president, when it meant everything when Obama was president.

I've never trusted the media, so that should be a constant even with my new found distrust of Leftism in its entirety.

My question for you is, why do you trust it? Is it because it says something you agree with?

Do you actually believe he is that clueless? Honestly?

Plus, there is no actual discussion on this board anymore. It's either Trump supporters fellating him or Trump haters condemning him. It's been one week.

She's the Prime Minister of our most important ally. I don't think expecting the White House to spell her name correctly is too high a standard to hold them.

Stout, I like you as a usually pragmatic poster but even you can't believe the son of a multi-millionaire is, "self-made."

I've got my dickhead, passive aggressive, issues to deal with but I'm facing them head on but this post makes me want you to seek help. I know it won't happen, carry on. If you need some help, please don't hesitate to contact a professional...

5 freaking days in and we are already off with this? This is the same crap we heard throughout the election. The campaign is in shambles... Trump is unhinged... staffers are fleeing like rats from a ship...etc, etc...and he not only won, but he brought down the blue wall with pennies on hrc's dollars.

Everyone already knows that there is a concerted effort to delegitimize Trump. Every story aims to do this from the Russia hysteria, to the pop vote stories, to the the crowd size, to this. You don't have to rush to the board with stories like this because we already know it's bullshite.

Dude seriously, do you actually believe anything that the WaPo prints?

They have less credibility as The National Enquirer.

CNN posted a similar article re: millions of Americans don't benefit directly from the stock market when Obama was President. It was very easy to find too. When I posted it here everyone just ignored it.

So, the stock market doing well wasn't touted as evidence of the Obama recovery?

Exactly.

This author is a regular on Morning Joe.

Haven't any of you seen him.

He would knock Trump when warrented (even his Trumps biggest fans will surely admit he is not without fault).

But he also was one of the first and biggest "guys, Trump is onto something, Trump could win this, don't underestimate him" guests on that show!

The writer is not anti-Trump!

How close are the "aides" to the president? This could be janitorial staff and you wouldn't know.

Actually, Stout's post was spot on. I think it's you who needs to seek help to rid yourself of bigoted and hateful thinking.

Van Jones predicted Trump's success as well. Predicting success in the polls isn't the same as being positive about policy.

The media produces a lot of content. I'm sure there were stories supporting what you are saying. Just as there are positive stories in the media about Trump and the stock market.

I just thought it was hilarious that earlier there were multiple threads criticizing CNN for running a story about how a majority of Americans don't own stock and don't directly benefit from the DOW breaking 20,000. Everyone was convinced that CNN would never run that story if Obama was President. Then I posted almost the exact same story from CNN from 2014. Crickets.

The media produces a lot of content and it's easy to seek out stories that support any narrative in your head.

Well stated point, which partially goes back to my previous post.

When do you decide what to believe and what not to believe?

Why should anyone believe this opinion piece?

I try... But unfortunately most of my threads just disappear into the infinite abyss on this board.

Also, for all of you assholes, at least one person admits to voting for Hillary, me, so frick your "all" retoric, it's alternate facts.

That does not mean anything in regards to whether a person will write an unbiased report.

The media has created this atmosphere where I have no idea what is reality and what isn't. Their actions this election have ruined what reputation they had.

It actually says nothing either way.

Nate Silver was definitely anti-Trump, as was Van Jones, and both of them predicted Trump could win.
