It amazes me that liberalism is willing to cede that its ideology is completely divorced from putting America's interest first. Forty years ago, you'd become persona non grata for suggesting that anything other than America first was appropriate. Now it is "racist."

I think they are trying to imply that "America First" is a phrase used by white people to keep it white, and also infers Imperial concerns.

I'm going to guess because they think it means if America is first then other countries come after including countries like Mexico so therefore America is being racist towards non-White countries.
