So let's just say for shits and giggles Guice runs the right way or we don't fumble and we make that field goal and crush the Gators in points like we did in total yardage. Seriously? You didnt have to be for or against to realize Joe Aleva's handling of this hire was a total shite show. That doesnt make people for or against Coach O. So, seeing people who were pissed at the hire, were probably more upset with how it was handled, than the hire itself.

Jesus this thread is ridiculous. The question should be, was he the best choice at the time? The answer is no. His success has nothing to do with the lack of coaching search. If O works out, great. It doesn't mean the coaching search was handled properly which is the biggest complaint amongst most lsu fans.

You will be one of the type that will give only the coordinators credit when Lsu does well, and only O the blame when they don't. People like you can't be reasoned with. You are like a woman, once something is in your mind...that's it. The correct answer on all of this is the jury is out on O and we will wait to see how he performs. He is off to a great start. Time will tell on the rest. It is laughable those saying this was a bad hire. You don't know that yet. There were many that said bellichec was a bad hire after he had at first failed.
