WR Brandon Lloyd (sp?) was givin chances with SF and DAL but it wasn't until frick boi Kyle Orton came along in Denver that he lead the league in yards iirc. Had a good three year run in Denver.
He had a crazy catch radius for his size, and reminded me of Lynn Swann with his body control and acrobatics.

Right?
Orton gave him some wild balls to grab but he always grabbed them. Felt like he was on ESPN's SC top ten plays weekly. He really helped me cope with the loss of Marshall.
What amazes me about McDaniels is that in his short time here, we was damn good at getting targets. Signing Lloyd, drafting Thomas, Thomas, and Decker. Meanwhile in NE they haven't had a good rookie WR since??? Edelman? That's the only one I can think of.

Explain this one to me. He had some of his better seasons in Denver, but they were a much better team than the Cardinals.
He was a 2nd round pick and got the Cardinals their first playoff win since they were in Chicago. I don't think of him as a bust there.

Tony Mandarich 2nd overall pick (just ahead of Dion Sanders, Derrick Thomas, and Barry Sanders).
Was terrible at GB, sat out 3 yrs (drugs, alcohol) and then came back and was serviceable for the Colts for 3 seasons.

Because of the injury? I wouldn't call him a bust in San Diego, he had a couple of good seasons. He obviously took it to another level when he got to New Orleans but I don't really think of him as a bust

Bust may not be the right word but there was a reason they drafted Rivers. Based on his play there, he wasn't going to be the QB of the future for them.
Don't get me wrong, I think he's great and love that he's a Saint but if anyone says they predicted his success in Nola then they are full of shite.

You really calling a key player in a Super Bowl winning team a bust ? If anything he didn't really do shite after he left Nola.

Eddie Kinnison was mediocre with Rams ended up with Chiefs and had several yrs at or over a 1000 yds, Priest holmes left the Ravens, had not done much, ended up with the Chiefs and had the record for the most TD's and I believe combined yards in one season until Ladanian Tomlinson broke that record.

Mike Vrabel- originally picked by Pittsburgh- thrived a lot more in New England
Ahman Green- originally with Seattle- made the Pro bowl a handful of times with Green Bay

As the #2 overall pick, stat wise yes...in Miami he had two 1000+ yard seasons

Joe Horn was a backup in KC, then pro bowler with the Saints. Not really a bust though because he wasn't highly regarded coming out.
