U.S. Steel CEO Mario Longhi admitted that manufacturing challenges exist exclusively in the United States thanks to oppressive regulation set forth by President Obama.

Longhi is willing to bring as many as 10,000 jobs back to the United States because of the prosperity predicted with the advent of the incoming Trump administration. Jobs were lost to lay offs and downsizing during the Obama administration, and many employees found work overseas.

Europe and other countries have not established the same set of confining rules for manufacturing companies that American workers and business owners face.

Still not tired of all this winning, folks!

Not even sworn in yet and he's already making America great again.

It already kinda does feel like he is President right now and not Obama.

Jesus, this almost doesn't seem real anymore.

I'm still not tired, though.

It will be great if we build jobs, but I do wonder if companies are beginning to seek out free, positive publicity after the positive reaction to the Carrier deal.

I don't blame them, but until the talk turns to action (like it did with the 1000 Carrier jobs), I'll be optimistic yet skeptical.

My brother in law works at Nucor in Tuscaloosa. It's like Thornton Mellons party in "Back to School" there.

At one point I actually wasn't sure if Trump could accomplish what he claimed to.

I thought the jobs were dead and gone and that while he might try and work for it, the greed and power of the globalists would be too much.

I'm sorry I ever had the slightest doubt in my God Emperor.

I pledge my fealty.

I know but one king.

Going to need more details than the article provides.

Is Trump rolling back the newer standards on coal fired boilers?

"I'm more than happy to bring back the employees that we were forced to lay off during the depressing period," Longhi said in an interview on CNBC.

"Market conditions will dictate if, when and how many employees we can recall," a U.S. Steel spokeswoman told Reuters on Wednesday.
