I'd taken Dak to come on home in round 3. He makes everyone better and accountable.

Dak has an infinitely better supporting cast in Dallas.

How do you watch this team and think "man, if we had a rookie QB we'd be much better off"?

Also, how does Dak hold anyone accountable?

Not trying to take away from what Dak is doing, but a lot of QBs would be destroying people with the supporting cast that kid has right now. Those pockets... my god.

The Saints can't draft a QB when they have other more pressing needs.

Want to learn a lesson from Dallas? The lesson is NOT "draft a QB", but rather, build your team on the Offensive Line from the CENTER outwards. THAT is the lesson.

And all it took for Dak to be serviceable is to have the best O line in football, possibly the best back in football, and a top 5 receiver

He's closer to home in Dallas than in New Orleans.

He still would not have seen the field of the saints drafted him.

It's the way Dak operates in that system with those players. That offense asks him to be super efficient and that's what he does better than almost any QB. And he doesn't turn the ball over very much.

If he was in this system he might not perform as well. Honestly though the saints would be better off with their current defense if their offense was more efficient.
