It's apparently the league and NCAA's decision now. They were given ample time to resolve the issue and it wasn't, so finally an executive decision is being made.

I pray this is the case

So if this is true UF needs to be hopping a plane now or waiting to Saturday afternoon and hope all roads, airport, etc. are OK.

THIS... If UF continues to drag arse and storm has major impact in Gainesville, they still have excuse of not able to get out of town.

You don't know the difference between a hint and "nothing is ruled out". Plan B + Plan C does not equal Plan D. If it's in BR, there's no reason to push it to Sunday. If it stays in Gainesville, then it could be played anytime during the weekend.

I will say, from one of my sources, the idea of playing in BR is dead.

No he's not guessing. He's telling you the game is moving, it's done. The part he doesn't know is the new game time, possibly the location.
And he's not going to give any solidified info because of his source.

It's not that hard man.

Well Alleva said that if they had to play here on Saturday, they would have to start prep by yesterday afternoon. Since that didn't happen, and if they started prep THIS afternoon, Sunday might be the earliest they can be ready.

Well then they should take the L as a forfeit. This WHOLE shite show could have been avoided if level heads in Gainesville had prevailed 24 hours ago. Instead, they are dragging arse. So if the game is moved and they can't get out, then they will own the repercussions of their decisions.

Let's not act like playing the game in Gainesville was the only viable option. It was UF's only viable preference.

hy Sunday? I'm sure we'll be ready for Saturday

LSU athletic facilities need ATLEAST 3days and nights to adequately prepare campus and the stadium for a home game. Halliburtons staff is good, but you have no idea the manpower that goes into transforming LSU for a Saturday game.

I know we are. I actually know people that are involved with 2 different game day functions. I'm just not willing to say too much to out myself or others.

Is Southern away this weekend? They can come to BR and we can play there.

And that's not considering the strain it puts on LEO and emergency response personnel. I can't imagine how they can put on a football game with a Cat 4 hurricane further straining those resources.

I just don't see how this game gets off the ground on Saturday anywhere at this point. UF dragged its feet for too long.

He said the NCAA is involved and sounds like Sunday in BR.

It is so sad the SEC did not step up.

So much league-wise depends on this game being played!
