What's the 2nd most important factor in duck hunting success?

I feel it's a safe assumption that every seasoned duck hunter would agree that being where the birds want to be is the single most important factor in duck hunting.
Location aside, what do you think is the second most important factor? I hunt exclusively public land and often am limited in my location selection. If I can't always control being on the X, I do my best to make sure everything else is in my advantage. So what does the OB consider the 2nd most important factor in waterfowl hunting?

Good decoy setup and movement on the water. Especially late season. Got to have ripples on the water.

Weather is fairly important.

Being hidden and still. If you're where they want to be, your spread won't matter much. And if you're where they want to be it's likely BECAUSE of feed. So just sit down, shut up, and be still. Oh and shoot straight

Toss up still people in blind or good shooters

Don't let them see you

I hunt public land also and I say wind. Give me a good 15-20 north wind and we are gonna have a good time.

Movement in the blind and concealment is big but if you're where the birds want to be, there's times it just doesn't matter.
Good shot calling is one that often gets overlooked. It can be difficult to make the decision on shoot now or one more pass.

So true. Missed out on a lot of ducks because of me or someone else saying "let's give them one more pass".

Being able to hunt whenever the weather is right, whether that's on a Wednesday or a Sunday. Having a window of 2 days to hunt can really kill your season and your morale.

Yea that's pretty huge. I hunt exclusively on weekends. When I see everyone whacking em during the week and then I get bad weather on the weekend and don't do so well, it makes it really frustrating...

Snow geese- decoy (lots) movement

This! Last year it seemed like the fronts always came through at a time that made the best hunting whenever I had to work.
The weather gods said to me, "What's that? You looked at the extended forecast and scheduled a vacation day. Let me just stall out here for a week then. Would hate for you to miss out on these blue bird days."
...I'm a little bitter about last year's weather.

This thread just made me remember how sweet it is when the stars finally align

Keeping still and it's not close.

I say feed.
Being a primary marsh hunter when we get a storm and there is no feed, it doesn't matter what the weather does how many decoys, what kind of call, or shot placement, or movement of birds without feed there is no birds.
My other opinion would be to have birds, if you don't have birds in the area you are hunting it's gonna be a long day.
