I don't think that's too far north for Axis. most people hunt that area because of whitetail numbers and the ability to see a lot of Exotics

re: Prop question for boat...

The recommended operating RPM range for a Yamaha 115 SHO outboard motor is 5300-6300 RPM.
The engine's rev limiter is designed to prevent it from exceeding this range and typically activates at approximately 6200-6400 RPM.

From google
I am taking boat out tomorrow and will get rpm figures.

I read about that. Figured a 16 or 17 pitch was just about right. I've always thought a 4 blade was better for hole shot tho?

Prop question for boat...

Posted by 4mileduckman on 7/12/25 at 3:55 pm
I have a 2019 115 yamaha sho. It's on a h20 express bay boat. Great boat but I'm currently running a 3 blade prop wt a 20 or 22 pitch. Im finding myself pulling kids on skis, tubes, etc more and more. Looking to switch to a 4 blade wt a 13.25 diameter and 16 pitch for better hole shot to get skiers up quicker. Is my thinking right here? Open to suggestions.
Check the harbor freight knockoff. I have several pelicans and the harbor freight ones are very close in quality and much less in price. Comes in black green and tan.
