I don't give Landry credit for anything other than being a sorry POS. The Sheahan appointment was political payback/favor. Landry didn't go recruit her. That was a deal, thus her short tenure here

I agree completely with all of this. But I also agree with Da Hammer. As much as I thought she would be completely incompetent, I was actually pretty pleased with her short tenure...

Our 3rb base coach has been a retard all year. Y’all missed this?
Measured this evening. It’s going to be about 2000sf. I don’t have a preference on grass type. My yard is a mix of st aug and centipede.

I’ll do it myself if I can find the time, but that’s not always so easy. I’ll take any tips y’all want to give!

Probably 1500 - 2000sf. Wife wants some flower beds in there as well so maybe we can do both.

If I call the number on your website, will you be the one to answer?

Sod Installer - Baton Rouge

Posted by CajunCommander on 5/12/25 at 12:56 pm
Anyone have a recommendation for sod installation in BR? I've checked with Woerner Turf. Just looking to get a few quotes.
I don’t understand the defense of yeski. The dude has been a fraud over and over again.
Sounds like the person being chased and their passenger died. other vehicles driver went to hospital in rough shape.
There was no love lost with Brady Neal leaving but he bailed because he was scared to compete with these clowns? Sheesh.
Fuk you Larry. Fuk you Kendal Rogers.
frick Kendall rogers. frick d1 baseball and frick Flo sports. No one wants to pay for your garbage arse coverage of the sport.
Against USCe we shot 29% from the floor. Against OU we shot 52%. We couldn't buy a bucket against SC. Sometimes the buckets just don't fall.

The fact that we shot 29% against SC and had a close game should tell you all you need to know.

If by "keep" do they mean shoot in the head and cut the line?
I would have no issue with a reduction in the following:

- Daily Bag Limit
- Hen Limits
- Season duration
- New age duck hunters
- Outfitters

It's become so commercial that a reduction in all of the above would be good for waterfowl management in the long run.
I encourage you and everyone else asking questions about population decline to listen to The Standard Sportsman podcast episode released on 12/5/24 called "Where are the Ducks? Take 2 with Dave Rave".

Really eye opening science/biology based discussion with a waterfowl biologist with 35 years of experience talking about flaws in surveys, (both population and wetland surveys), the lack of regulatory adjustment since 1996, moving up of seasons in the north, moving back of seasons in the south, hunter mortality effect on population, etc.

The age old adage of "hunting mortality does not effect duck populations" is not supported by science. Which I've been curious about for years.

It was really interesting to hear the science side of things as opposed to the Flyway Federation side of things.

Are we all going to just ignore the mankini comment in the picture you posted?

uhhh wut
I said the same thing. But my Buddy doesn't exactly spend very much time near Bridgeport, AL.
Lol yea I scoured his social's and website to see if that's what he was doing. That bird is very similar but it was posted to his Instagram before my buddy killed his.

Update: Buddy received email from Shane last night apologizing saying that all is good, he's out of town and to give him a call Monday. Hopefully this get's some traction.
What has been your experience on lead time with him in the past?

Shane Smith Waterfowl Taxidermy

Has anyone on here gotten a bird mounted with Shane Smith out of Northern Alabama?

https://waterfowltaxidermy.com/

A buddy of mine shot a Hybrid two years ago at our place and did his homework on top tier waterfowl taxidermists. Selected Shane based on multiple good reviews and competition reputation. Paid in full. Two years later, he can't get ahold of him. Phone, text, email... nothing.

Hoping someone can share their experience or if there's a better way to get ahold of this guy besides the contact info on his site. That bird is irreplaceable.

It was the best I’ve seen all season. South Alabama took me 2 hours. 20 mins tonight.
How in the frick do you mfers get to play so much golf?
