Go here and type in your address. I'd personally be concerned if my elevation was <15ft.

I'm basing all this off of my gut feeling. I've got no specific knowledge or history on the area so some good ol' baws may be along shortly to let you know how that area has fared in the past. Stay safe!

I don't know any of the names of any subdivisions.

@ 14.4' you should be keeping a very close eye on it. I think you'll be fine, but I've been wrong a few times through this.

Thanks. Probably all for nothing...but it was worth a shot. We didn't bag our house (closest to Oaks on the Bluff entrance) but helped our three neighbors. Guessing by late tomorrow night we will take on water. We had a lot of help from a few families we had never met today. All from Oaks on the Bluff. One even let me show my zero turn at his place.

Believe we are at 12 1/2 or 13. Latest we got was 3 more days of water coming into Bluff Swamp. We've been measuring the water rise since yesterday morning. Going up half an inch an hour. If, big IF, it continues for three more days, you'd be looking at 2 1/2 to 3 feet more water.

I think your butt is going to be puckered for a bit but should be okay as long as it's a slow rise.

Anybody know if New River is doing anything west of I-10?

Based on the elevation map passed around it seems elevation in Oaks on the Bluff in at 20 ft or higher. If most are thinking 15 ft as the high water mark, what concerns you?

I'm not in oaks on the bluff. On the low side. Last house on the left before entrance to oaks on the bluff.

That's the number Bamafan has suggested as the level for comfort. Not sure of the basis other than that.
