the west side of bluff is gonna flood... how much is the question... good thing is it's lower in elevation further west towards the back of st. Gabriel and Carville... the water will continue on southwest til it evens out...

I actually was at work thinking about taking the 10/22 down there and popping some gar fish. I saw a couple swimming by the bridge near the new firestation.

Here's a story for y'all. The husband of a friend of my wife was evaccing people around hoo sho too. They pic this guy up and bring him in and drop him off. They head back out to get more people and when they get back, the guy is there waiting for them with grocery bags, cigarettes & booze. He's tells the guys in the boat that "he's ready to go back"!!!!! LOL. They told him "sir, we're not in the business of taxi-int people around. You can go back to the convienience store"

Some people's children, I swear

In my 30 years and my dad's 60 years, we've never had water like this on the bluff side.

Gotcha. My parents live at the end of kleinpeter. We've been estimating another 1.5 feet. 2 more feet from where it is now and they will be cutting it very close.

I always was curious who would build houses on the other side of the road. I'd imagine most of them are taking on water at this point.
