What does this mean for folks off Bayou Paul in St. Gabriel?

Iberville ordered evac for Bayou Manchac Rd near there. You guys might want to send a scout out. I got family on the point and Im telling them to keep an eye out.

10-4.

I'll be down there in a little while to help man the night shift at a few houses.

Stay safe.

I live on Bluff, low side, past Ridge road. I started measuring at 9:30 this morning. It's come up 6 inches as of 6:30. Have 2 1/2 feet until it's level with my slab. We built at 12.5 feet. Headed out and sleeping somewhere else tonight. Fingers crossed that it's not in the house tomorrow.

Photo of Alligator Bayou Rd near Bayou Paul from 8 hours ago when stage was at 10.4 ft.

Latest at Amite River Basin at Bayou Manchac at Alligator Bayou. Still rising at 11.05 ft.

Sorry if you answered already. How close to Alligator Bayou are/were you? Will your area affect Bayou Paul?

I've been trying to get this goober to leave for 2 days now. I'm sure I'll get a 2am call asking to pick him and his boat up off of Bluff.

Before we left Beehive Dr on Bayou Paul (3-4 o'clock) they said no mandatory Evac but "stay vigilant" for Bayou Paul whatever that means. We left because I don't exactly trust what the parish is saying. And it's better to be safe than sorry.

If Alligator road gives way and the water keeps rising do yall think there is any chance it could make Nicholson impassable? Or is Nicholson on much higher ground?

Gonna be some inmates running if it does. The little levee around the west side is only like 2ft high. Nicholson is probably 2ft higher than that if I'm just winging it

There's a hole in the road that the helicopters are dropping sand on. Sounds like they are pissing on a forest fire but they are trying.

There has been water pouring over alligator bayou road since Saturday

Under normal circumstances, how much higher is the road than Bayou Manchac?
