WBRZ just showed that Lakeside Daquiri on Burbank had standing water in the parking lot and the fire dept. was going to the apartments behind the bar with airboats to get people.

Spanish Lake swamp (circled in blue) is taking the water. The soccer field (circled in red) at the same elevation, is also aiding but less.

That was my thought from looking at the flood map.

This could potentially spare everyone west of Highland/Siegen if it is able to take on enough overflow.

How much worse than Saturday morning do you think the area will be at the head of the red arrow that ends at nicholson/burbank? I live right beside that area and only had a few inches to spare until water entered my apartment

This happened at 11am this morning. I drove by there at this time and watched the fire department unload the boat

I will tell you the water under bridge at Burbank/Highland is significantly higher than the bridge on Bluebonnet right before Albertsons
