Just FYI, the Burbank soccer fields looked nearly identical at 10:30 this morning. Fields are not under water, just parking areas.

Water starting to cross over highland a little past highland/burbank intersection

When that reaches flush with the road I do not see how Bluebonnet gets spared.

Thanks to those nice kids in LSU shirts who helped me fill my SUV with sandbags, and all the people out on the streets who are directing people away from impassable streets. Now if I can only find a route back home.

Man, that water at Burbank soccer looking towards the dog park hits home. That is the start of flooding for That neighborhood. Hopefully it doesn't go any higher

From reports it seems like the soccer fields are serving as a meaningful gathering area. Finally, a worthwhile use for the sport in America

Its interesting, the water under the bridge and at Bluebonnet near bluebonnet/highland still has a very slow flow towards Siegen.

Dude, because of you I relayed information to at least 5 different families and I made them get out of their neighborhood to save their cars. You at the very least saved like 9 vehicles from being totaled because all of those cars would be under water at the moment.

I can't thank you and the other person in last nights thread for everything you predicted. I now have my mom calling me every half hour wanting me to check river levels and elevations of her friends houses.

This really warms my heart. I wanted to be there helping people in a boat but I evac'd 2 days ago because I have a son just turning one year old - cant risk my life with him depending on me, so I had to find another way to help. It makes me not regret my decision, hearing that I helped people by staying here.

Speaking of said 1 year old, BRB, putting him to bed.

Is water all flowing to Burbank soccer fields thus creating illusion that water is flowing that way?

If you look closely at the first photo, you should be able to make out the sign, "Fields are closed".

Interesting. Not seeing much movement in the Meadow Bend neighborhood. Actually rose a tiny bit over the last hour

We would need a filling grading plan to know. Played a few games there as a kid don't ever remember those fields holding moisture. It was always real dry.
