I drove my car out to rescue some people and couldn't get through. I was amazed with the number of trucks/boats willing to help. Basically let me hitchhike to take them to people I knew were in need just by reading posts on here. Lotta good people out there today.

The fields drain pretty well but that area can get soggy for sure. That ditch on the right side bordering the homes on west side is always full of water.

Just got a photo of my place from a buddy.

Water not in the house yet, so there's that.

I'll find work doing something after This. Gonna be a lot of people in need after this so I'll just offer my services up

Got all 30 horses out of the barn. Over 2ft of water. All in pastures, thpugh some up to ankles. Grass is starting to reappear so I think muddy creek may be done with the backflow

From reports it seems like the soccer fields are serving as a meaningful gathering area. Finally, a worthwhile use for the sport in America

Spanish Lake swamp (circled in blue) is taking the water. The soccer field (circled in red) at the same elevation, is also aiding but less.

for the experts, it's gotta start receding relatively soon, right?
