I drove my car out to rescue some people and couldn't get through. I was amazed with the number of trucks/boats willing to help. Basically let me hitchhike to take them to people I knew were in need just by reading posts on here. Lotta good people out there today.

The fields drain pretty well but that area can get soggy for sure. That ditch on the right side bordering the homes on west side is always full of water.

Anyone have word on burgess ave in denham springs? Asking for a friend. I know my BILs parents are ok off Florida by juban but wasn't sure how burgess was doing. Thanks.

damn, they are picked up people stranded and bringing them to WalMart, was going to go and pick up a few people and bring to my house.

Got all 30 horses out of the barn. Over 2ft of water. All in pastures, thpugh some up to ankles. Grass is starting to reappear so I think muddy creek may be done with the backflow
