Any idea what this means for Prairieville area?

I'm in NC but have family in Denham, Watson and Prarieville... all of my information has basically come from TD. National coverage is non-existant. Guess not enough loss of life to warrant reporting.

That gauge is all we have other than boots on the ground.
Key thin is water still rising in areas drained by Jones Creek. If they are the gauge is stuck

Just got home to my house at Sherwood/Goodwood. Extremely fortunate to be up high as many around me weren't so fortunate. Jones Creek is draining away from my home (near Sharp Road) and a lot of people are sadly feeing the effects of being on the wrong side of the creek.
This is absolutely surreal but I'm okay and so is my house for now. Still have electricity as well. Going to settle down and then see how I can help others who aren't as fortunate.

Any idea what will happen in Dutchtown with the Bayou Manchac backflow?
USUALLY Spanish Lake catches the brunt of that. In the past bluff road has flooded later in the cycle, but no telling since they messed with the lake so much recently.
If the water is falling then New River is draining, which is good.
I am not 100% certain, but that side of 74 flows the opposite way of Bayou Manchac. New River through Gonzales area and the Pville side of 74 through Manchac...well, imagine north of 73 and east of 74.

Near STM? A lot of schools in the area flooded completely. I asked about info on STM earlier.
