If we get the 12" of rain they are currently saying, there will be flooding.

Geez, I hope not. My GF just moved back into her house after being flooded out last March.

What's the best website to look at the 'The Euro' forecast?

They should check the legend in a test environment before posting live. You can't read it, esp. on mobile.

Much better graphic issued today:

Some concerning changes with the 12z Euro today showing 8-16"+ for areas north of I10 and east of the River by Monday morning. This is a pretty short range forecast for the Euro and a time frame where it typically is pretty good. It is also backed up by the Euro EPS which shows a 51 member mean of nearly 8" for the same area. If it holds at 00z to the next 24 hrs, I would suspect a pretty significant expansion of the Flood Watch.

Only thing I'm worried about is getting my dog to go outside. He won't go if there is thunder in Baton Rouge.

This is just one forecast rainfall model. It shows very heavy rainfall potential going into Friday. Late Thursday into early Friday is the time period that concerns me the most. Stay weather aware during this time period. Flood Watch is posted for the potential for 5-8-10" of rain or more.

2 and a half feet of rain in Houma?

This is why the models are tough. This shows tremendous rain south of the lake, whereas others show it north of the lake.
