We used to go on canoeing trips on the Cossatot when I was at Tech.
Albert Pike near Mena is pretty cool too
Driving north/south through south AR takes FOREVER

Just got back from a week on the White River in Mountain View. Had a hell of a time! Blanchard Springs is right up the road and the trout bite is stellar.

Collins creek in Heber Springs is a nice little place. Went there for my bachelor trip last year, and he ew up taking the camper there and fishing for rainbow trout.
