He's also about to get paid. The only trade for player ideas that are worth exploring are guys like Russell and Okafor that just started their rookie contract.

only way you can take on Okafor or Noel is if you are able to dump Asik and i just can't see that happpening

In Demps' presser when asked about Asik he pretty point blank said Asik is going to have to be productive for the team to be any good. It didn't sound like Asik was going anywhere or they had plans to replace him. He blamed injuries for his problems last year, which is true to a certain extent, and then said he's healthy now and playing for Turkey this summer.
