Dragan Bender will be there at 6. If we fail to move up to get Dunn, could be interesting to see what we'd do with Bender and Murray or Hield still on the board

Hield and Bender both being there is my biggest internal debate right now.
I slightly lean toward Hield but not by much. And only because I really think his intangibles and fire are exactly what this team and Jrue and Davis need to be a successful duo.

Bender may not come over for 2 more year I don't understand why people want him. As for Hield he seems like such a safe pick when I think we desperately need to aim for a guy who can be a star. I understand the point of a player to contributing now but that should be looked for in FA. I rather have a guy that could be a star in 4 years if AD leaves than a guy who can be a role player right away and AS still leaves.

There is no one like that in FA. Get hield. And why wait that long? No one wants someone who "could be good later". Be risky as hell or go for who's good now.

He's on a 7 year contract and needs to be bought out at 1.3 mil and a NBA team can only pay around 600,000. So it would up to him if he wants to come over right away because he would have to play that money.

Bender has exponentially more of a chance at becoming a star than Hield does.
