It does not hold up as well as I had hoped....
Watched 3 Ninjas, Little Giants, and the Sandlot as well and those hold up MUCH better over time. Heavyweights was actually fairly boring on the rewatch and I loved it as a kid.

This guy doesn't get enough credit when the discussion of "Greatest Movie Villains" comes up.

rewatch it with friends almost every year. think it holds up amazingly well. we always find someone who hasnt seen it before and they usually end up loving it.

that was a solid era for non animated kids movies. Do they even make those anymore? It seems like everything is animated now

Sandlot, Mighty Ducks, Little Giants, Rookie of the Year, 3 Ninjas, Little Big League....etc.

It holds up really well actually. Sorry if you don't get the humor. 90's was the peak for comedy. Edgy but still family friendly.

3 Ninjas is not even close to being on the same level as Little Giants and the Sandlot. It was bad then but it's really bad now. Heavyweights hold up much better than that POS.

I still want to kick tum tum's arse as a 33 year old man.

Dude. I can see if you don't think Heavyweights aged well, even though I disagree. But you cannot hold up 3 Ninjas as an example. I liked that movie, but it aged absolutely horribly.
