What about HHM and the firm he worked for?

You do realize there haven't been any Jimmy McGill commercials, right? The FIRST one is scheduled to air the following day. Meaning, Jimmy pulls the commercial.

The billboard stunt, knowing the DA, knowing many other attorneys, etc.

So you're that guy.
What? It's was very obvious that something would happen to cause Jimmy to make a decision to stay in hiding or rush inside. Wasn't trying to be "cool" by saying I saw it coming.

Do you recall the last local news story you heard m about one person saving another's life? What was either party's name?

Do you recall the last billboard you saw advertising a law firm? What's the name of the firm?

Dude, the law profession is pretty fraternal. There's no possible way he becomes Saul without everyone knowing who he was before.

Maybe that crack on the head will cure Chuck. Works on the soaps.

I think Jimmie tries to get power of attorney over a comatose Chuck or inherited Chuck's share of HHM. At some point there is a buy out of Jimmie and the stipulation is that he can not practice law under his sir name. Saul Goodman is born.

That would make sense. A lot more than everyone forgets there was ever a lawyer in ABQ named Jimmy McGill.

I agree that Jimmy probably still has power of attorney or status as next of kin for any of Chuck's medical decisions in the event Chuck is incapacitated. Chuck probably hasn't had time to change that since he figured out Jimmy's betrayal.

That scene of Howard holding a piece of paper asking Jimmy "Are you behind this, Jimmy?" is probably about having Chuck committed/declared incompetent or maybe even pulling life support.

Or Jimmy sends a letter to HHM informing them Chuck is no longer competent enough to practice law and wants the firm to buy him out. That was a storyline in the beginning of season one and Howard was stressed about the possibility because it would apparently be financially damaging for the firm to have buy Chuck out - that's why they keep accommodating his "illness" because it's cheaper for the firm to pay Chuck his salary/partnership money than having to buy him out all at once.

Going to be a lot of chickens coming home to roost in the finale for both Jimmy and Mike.

That would make sense and it was touched upon in season one. After making us hate Howard, they'll probably make him a sympathetic figure that we'll feel sorry for. They've already shown him to be a good dude after convincing us he was an atomic prick.

and that means jackshit.

Especially to the 2-bit criminals that he's representing in BB.

You're making a mountain out of a molehill and it's nothing that he can't explain away in a 30 second commercial if an explanation would be necessary.

So all of the lawyers and judges and court employees he's interacted with are going to forget he was Jimmy? I guess it will just be widely known. You can't really stop someone from changing their name

I think in BB he says his name is officially McGill when Walt and Jesse first meet him. When they were getting Badger out of jail.

How could mike put hector in a wheelchair and then hang around ABQ for 10 years without a bullet in his head? Dude would be the most market guy in the southwest

If it happens, Mike will probably have an indirect role. Hector's ailment seems to have been portrayed as neurological or degenerative. Vince just showed us an image of Hector displaying signs of poor health. We may be one more stressful event away from a stroke.
