I never said it meant anything. Dude was acting like nobody was gonna know who Saul really is. It doesn't really matter, but that's ridiculous.

Why does it matter that people know that he rebranded?

I either forgot or it hasn't been mentioned specifically, but what exactly is Chuck suffering from?

How would he become Saul Goodman with all the advertising in the same town where he was once Jimmy McGill

He simply changes his name and pratices law as Saul Goodman. If he converted to Islam he could change his name and practice as Cat Stevens for all it matters. It doesn't garner much significance if people recall him being Jimmy McGill once upon a time.

So do you guys believe the Frings back stuff? While my first thought is its a coincidence, there's no good reason for most of the episode titles. And it seems weird that click would be spelled 'klick,' although I'm not sure what that's referring to.

If Gus had to be introduced this early on, it makes sense to be teased in this finale. I figured he'd make an appearance for sure in Season 3 because of the Mike/Hector feud.

Not sure how Mike will be introduced to Gus, but we all know that Mike becomes second-in-command in Gus' camp. In the preview, we notice Mike testing out a true hitman-style sniper and Mike is a hitman afterall (maybe now moreso than ever considering he's been trying so hard to avoid killing and he had an innocent person murdered by Hector).

All the pieces are adding up around Mike's character we all knew in BB so 'klick' is definitely VG's way to spell out Fring's back

Maybe the Salamanca cousins? If not Hector himself? But if I had to guess -- Gus will get a hold of Mike somehow, offer protection for Mike in exchange for Mike's services. But again, not sure how the two will meet.

Would kingpin and ultra cautious Gus really take a chance on some nobody he barely knows?

All this entire organization knows right now is that Mike has balls and doens't take crap (meeting with everyone in the restaurant). Nacho knows a lot more, but not a lot he can openly say.

Obviously, we know that eventually mike and gus end up working together. But it seems like that would be a looong vetting process.

Mike just fricking with Hector now.

Loved it when Kim dressed Chuck down.

at Jimmy jumping out of bed after Kim's statement about how thorough Chuck is.

My prediction:

Remember that Gus has it out for Hector for killing his boyfriend in Mexico in the BB flashback. So right around now is the time when Hector kills the dude. Gus wants his revenge on Hector. He finds out that Hector has been hit for $250k and finds out who did it by being the evil freaking genius that he is. He may also find some redemption in the fact that Mike didn't kill the driver (I can't recall Gus ever killing anyone other than the Cartel when he/Jesse go down there so there may be some mutual respect arising from that).

Gus approaches Mike and hires him to go after Hector. However, Gus doesn't necessarily want Hector dead, he just wants him out of the way and/or to create chaos. This is probably harder to do than just take him out, so Mike has to practice, practice, practice on his shooting. Mike shoots Hector and puts him in a wheelchair.

Tuco starts running the family business Tuco style which creates a huge mess and a vacuum for Gus Fring to step into and take advantage of.

Season, Fin.

Rhea Seehorn has quietly been one of the best things about this series. She was so convincing in this past scene between her, Jimmy, and Chuck. We really got to see her shine this season and I'm disappointed there is only one more.

She stole that scene real quick and has been solid this entire season. Michael McKean has done an astounding job as well (somewhat similar to Skyler) where audiences dislike him or damn near want him dead even though he's not completely wrong with his beliefs.

Yep, it's not a big deal. One of the first things he tells Walter White is: "My real name is McGill."

Of course, he implies he uses a pseudonym, but could a lawyer practice under a pseudonym? I would think he'd have to legally change his name.

Nah, Hector killing the boyfriend happened in 1989 according to the "Breaking Bad" timeline - "Better Call Saul" happens in 2002. Max (Gus's boyfriend) has been dead 13 years at the time of these episodes.

And as for the "Jimmy McGill" to "Saul Goodman" name change - wouldn't it be hilarious if Chuck's "screw up" with Mesa Verde and his mental condition lead to the name McGill having such a bad rep in the New Mexico law community? So, we get a scene of Jimmy in front of a judge asking for a name change because "my brother so damaged the name McGill in the law community that I can't practice with the same name because no one trusts a lawyer named McGill any longer".
