I started noticing these on different jeeps belonging to what I believed to be real deal homosexuals a few years ago. Naturally, I scoffed at the idea.

Last year, a hunting buddy put one on his 4 wheeler. After seeing it come through the woods at night, I started to become more interested.

This past winter I had to hay cows a couple times after dark and when I have a roll bale on the front end loader spike it blocks my head lights. You can raise the loader, but it isn't safe to travel with a roll bale of hay on the front end very high.

I feel like I actually have a need for a light bar now on my tractor.

The guy with one on his 4 wheeler said it was $60 or so at autozone, but he didn't know the brand.

I come to you great minds with my hat in my hand. I was wrong. Light bars are awesome.

What are some good brands? What about specs like wattage, etc.?

That's what I'm looking at now.

I recognize the Cree brand. Prices seem to be low for a quality product.

Light is a good thing when needed. Too many of these are needed about as much as fake fender vents.

For something like that get on amazon and look for totron or nilights.

I run them on my daily driver, but never on when on the road except the 12 mile bit of two lane that runs to the house. I make sure to cut them off immediately if I see someone coming around a curve ahead.

Rigid is made in china, assembled in the US, and as a result they ask eleventy billion for their bars. Not worth it.

Get a light bar from Amazon.

Saw a cat the other day on East Texas in an old shitty Silverado with a double stack full length on the roof, a 12" or so on the fricking hood and another one on the toolbox on the back.

But yeah, Ebay ones are perfectly fine. Don't pay $600 for a Ridgid unless you just like throwing money away.

Go with a spot/flood combo. Will give you spotlight angles in the middle and flood light angles on the outside LEDs for max light spread.

Most of them use CREE LEDs if I remember correctly. Some may get condensation in the lens after a while. Just unscrew lens and put a bead of silicone down to seal it. Or buy another one for $60

I want to add that the nilight distributor is based in louisiana. If you order on amazon, it is usually to your door the next day.

If these fricks around here could figure out how to mount that many lights on their rigs I believe they would do it in a heartbeat

Amazon or Ebay $50 o $100 range depending on size.

Education time: The led you want is anything with CREE led's. those LED's are the strongest best quality and will last. FYI all internal transformers are the exact same manufacturer because the still hold the patent for another year or so. Some companies try to boast they are brighter and so forth....THEY ARE NOT. We have tested them all they have stacked transformers internally to give the LED a short term false impression that they are birghter...after a couple of uses the transformer will "burn in" as we call it and emit the same light as a single stacked LED light bar. Some light bars have fancy light reflecting tin and mirror in odd shapes inside the bars....all tricks to make you think it is brighter or better...IT IS NOT. Again Cree Led's and you good. All internal transformers are the same no matter what they say. Don't fall for double stacked transformers cause they look brighter in the beginning. Good Luck

Ebay/Amazon. I have 2 on my truck under the grill. they put out plenty of light. thr Raptor Forum did a test of all different brands and while the china LEDs didnt perform to the level the 1000 dollar ones did. They performed well enough to me.

Had them on for a year or so. No issues.

Good brand is kind of an open ended question. I can tell you the best brands, but you gotta pay to play. That's something not a lot of people are willing to do.

Sort of like buying flashlights and knives

My truck came with good headlights from the factory, so I just added some little light bars for the fog lights so I can see in the fog.
