I bought my house in 1996 for 300K. I paid it off in 2009. But I had a large down payment from the sale of my previous home. I can't remember the amount of the net loan.

Bought in 2015, signed a 30 year, I expect I'll have it paid in 20.

mine is paid off. paid it off in 18 years. If i would have thought then like i do now i would have had it paid off in about 12 or 13 years. Looking back that would have been the best i could have done based on my income at that time, regardless of the fact if i was making then what i make now i would have had it paid off in 2 or 3 years. oh well. better late than never!

Bought in 2015. 30 year mortgage at 3.75%. trying to pay off in 15. Rates are so low, I wonder if that is best, but I really hate the idea of a mortgage and love the idea of owning the house free and clear.

I doubt I ever pay a house off and if I do I'm going buy another one

Bought my house last summer, don't plan on paying it off. I'll probably sell it next summer. Hopefully I can go overseas for a year or two after I sell it.

Built it in 2005. Paid off 2014. Looking to sell it and build again next year.

Bought in 2002
Probably wouldn't be paid off until 2025 or so. We haven't been very aggressive paying down the principal. But we've been talking about selling and moving, so who knows.

bought our house in 2010 and will go the length of the loan if we stay in it that long

Bought in April 2015. No plans of paying off early at the moment.
If I wanted to get aggressive about paying it off I could probably do it in 6-8 years.

In no hurry to pay off 3% money of which I write off a large portion at tax time.

Bought 2nd house last year. It'll get "paid off" (by the bank) when I sell it in 3-5 years.
So, never.
