Loll of you morons blaming Jindal for education cuts read the La constitution. A governor can only cut healthcare and education. There is so much other waste that should be cut but can't without a new constitution.

But he says he doesn't. want to change to constitution. I he had any nuts and was any kind of a man he would call for a constitutional convention and fix this. The dude is a scum bag, and just another dirty politician. He will never touch entitlements because that's his voting base. He is nothing more than Louisiana Obama. Makes sense because politics is not the only thing they have in common.

can't believe he would shut down LSU, it gives money back to the school.
not like Grambling, who for years has been a total mess.

Where do you see that he wants this to happen?

And "I'm going to cancel football."

Just try to do that for me.

Edwin Edwards was a much, much better governor than Jindal.

This is what's wrong with LA. Voters that still hold a corrupt criminal in high regard.

He never said he would take football, he said if the university goes under, all students will be ineligible and that would mean farewell to the season.

half-brained republicans connecting the dots incorrectly. They will blame anything they can on our governor, simply because he now has a "D" next to his name, when the problem is a result of the man with the "R" by his name

FWIW I hate political parties with a passion, they only keep us from accomplishing things, probably our nation's biggest issue if you get right down to it.

This is about the dumbest scare tactic there is.

"There might be no LSU football" - So you're going take away what made the university 16 million or so last year?

Dude needs to shut his mouth. He's simply trying to get votes for his tax increase, end of story.

Even if he did want to change the constitution it wouldn't solve the immediate problem we have. And I blame Jindal for not doing this when he first got elected. He had the political capital at the time to call for a convention but chose not to.

If anything happens to Grambling, it would be an automatic racist agenda and Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton would be down here inciting folks to act, regardless of what the actual facts say about the schools budget....
So forget that idea. Cant have that

Just like "I dont like Cam Newton" really means "Im a racist". Havent you heard?

half-brained republicans connecting the dots incorrectly?

Are you really that stupid to blame Republicans for the governors remarks? I don't care how bad the deficit is, and we do have one, you don't go on TV and say your schools might close and you might have to end sports programs. How do you think that will play in recruiting students and athletes? It was a dumbass move by a dumbass governor.
