So would a million others but Gaston has to line his pockets first from that divorce.

I'll probably be upgrading it if they ever come out with a lighter one.

HB industries makes a spring kit for $12 shipped. It takes about 15 minutes to put in and go ahead and get the AK safety while your at it.Two great mods.

Is that invitation open to anybody on the OB? I'll provide the ammo and the cold beer.

Are there any mods to the KRISS worth mentioning? And is that an Osprey can or did someone copy the design?

The osprey-looking thing is just a barrel shroud. Coworker has one and it's a blast. 45ACP out of a 16" barrel doesn't require ear protection. You can borrow it if you want, I'm sure. Fun, unique gun

Fingers crossed on 4" G19 sized M&P still

This has been posted a couple of times already.

The current m&p is already a g19 sized m&p. I guess people want a 1/4" longer barrel and less rounds in the mag.

If someone could post the size differences between the 2 maybe that would clear things up.

If I get a chance, I'll go pick up my dad's m&p and take some pictures comparing it to my g19.

The current full sized M&P is a 4.25" with a 17 round mag whereas the G19 is a 4" with a 15 round mag. The M&P compact is a 3.5" with a 12 round mag. So they're just about there but not quite.

The G19 is considered midsized whereas those two M&Ps are full sized and compact. I doubt I would buy a midsized M&P since I'm already used to carrying my 9c but if they released one I would at least go and fondle it a bit.

That's exactly my point. Here are the dimensions of each. There isn't enough changes to make a whole new m&p when there is one available right now. Maybe if the discontinued the current m&p, but obviously that wouldn't be cost efficient.

My point is that there is already a 19 sized m&p. The barrel is a 1/4" longer and it's like 1/3" overall longer. Holds 2 rounds more. The compact is almost identical to the 26. Less than a 1/2 oz in weight difference as well.

Are y'all asking for a model between the 19 and 26?

I tend to agree with you here. If a person is set on a midsized option that isn't a Glock, I would point that individual at an HK VP9 or PPQ, both of which are excellent.
