It knew exactly what time it was that I watched it

Excellent resource there, thanks for posting.
I already was well aware how staggering the Soviet losses were, but seeing it presented this way really drives the point home. It's hard to fathom.

this is really cool. Just shot it to my dad, who is a retired History teacher. He will love this

Damn, that was an awesome video. Puts a lot of things into perspective.

Interesting. The extent of casualties from the Yellow River Flood was interesting.

I have always wondered how historians have come estimate death numbers of ancient events.

It was. I didn't know about that. The willingness to sacrifice 500,000 of your own shows just how ruthless some of these leaders were.

Great find
I saw a glimmer of hope for mankind at the end of the video...... Then I read the comments. God help us.

Saw the beta version a few months back. The numbers are just staggering.

I can't even conceive how the world can just lose 40 million people during one war.

Read up on the Great Chinese Famine. Estimated 15 to 30 millions deaths from 1959-1961. That's roughly 60 - 70 million deaths in a 20 year span from two single events.

I wonder how much higher our world population would be today if most/all of those people had never been killed.
