I love how this and GoT will get people arguing the "FACTS" regarding a work of fiction.

i just meant in terms of powerful characters. OML was saying, basically, that they're too powerful for lightsabers
vader/luke weren't, and they were pretty damn powerful

What if Leia gives herself over to Ben's master as an apprentice in exchange for him, as she is a more pure-blooded Skywalker than he is?

1. Revealed that either Luke is Rey's dad or her parent or parents were young Jedi who were killed in Kylo's Jedi School slaughter.
2. Leia will use the Force at some point in the trilogy.
3. Phasma isn't dead.

I'm expecting Rey to be Luke's daughter with Mara having been killed by Ben and the Knights of Ren

Vader is totally crippled though, and Luke still hadn't had that much time utilizing the Force.

As Skywalkers, they're supposed to be the most force-powerful individuals in the (Canon) galaxy at least in theory

I really see Kylo leaving the dark side of the force by the end of the trilogy.
Not me. That was set up in this movie and if it was going to happen it would have only made since for it to happen here. The importance of Han's death as a plot point was that it cemented Kylo's exorcizing the last light side from himself. If Kylo gets a redemption arc in later movies, it completely diminishes Han's death from a story telling perspective. They toyed with Kylo's light side urges and killing Han ended that forever.

She is Luke's daughter. They did everything except come out and say it.

Random speculation- the original concept of "a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away"... I know that is used to make it exotic and foreign, but I wonder- does this ancient tale end apocalyptically badly?
If good prevails, then the story is just an adventure, and currently in that galaxy far, far away, things are just peachy (or, like ours, is going through ups and downs).
But- the concept of the Force flowing through all living things, and a subset of the Force being evil and destructive. It makes you wonder if the Force, as it manifests, will eventually lead to destruction of all life, and thus the death of the Force... just a consideration. The Force Awakens, the Force Matures, the Force Dies.
edit- Luke figures it out, and has to destroy the Force (and life in his galaxy) for the sake of the Universe.
Don't know if I would want to watch that series of movies.

Yea, Kylo is not going back to the light. At least, I don't expect it.

I think you are looking at this backwards. After seeing Han's face when Ben stabbed him, Han KNEW Ben might kill him and wanted his last look toward Ben to say "no matter how far you go, you are always my son Ben and I will always love you. There is always a chance."
Han's death was precisely meant, by him, to save his son. If Ben stays dark, then his death was meaningless.

Totally think we find out it was kylo who left Rey because he couldn't kill her and didn't want snoke to choose her over him

1. We find out Ben Solo (aka Kylo) turned and killed the other pupils. Luke's wife, let's call her Mara, intervenes to stop Kylo from killing her daughter Hope (who was previously trained by Luke). In the process Kylo struggles with his decision and accidentally kills Mara. Filled with grief, he sees Hope and decides to spare her and runs. Luke returns to see his daughter left in the bloodbath and all she says is "Ben". In order to protect her, Luke takes her to the Jedi island and locks away her memories (along with part of the map to find him again in R2D2) and hides her away on Jakku (because it worked for him).
agree with most of this
and that Snoke is probably Darth Plagueis the Wise

Okay so I'm basing a lot of my predictions on the fact that I believe that Luke was standing at his wife/lover's grave when Rey approached him.
So I believe that Rey's mother was a strong Force User as well. She and Luke run the Jedi Academy that Luke set up and eventually they have a child. I believe that "Mara" was beginning to turn on Luke, and started to be seduced by the Dark Side (either just naturally or by Snoke as well). Luke has to put her down and that tears him apart. He loses focus on his Academy and decides that he needs to get Rey away from there. He leaves her on Jakku and tells Unkar that he will eventually come back for her. When he returns, he finds that the Knights of Ren have killed all of his padawans and have taken Kylo with them. He then decides to go into hiding.
Alternate theory: Luke and "Mara" since that the Dark Side is looming all around their Academy and don't want Rey to be seduced by it as Anakin was. So they hide her on Jakku. Upon their return to the Academy, the find that Snoke's Knights of Ren have killed their padawans and Luke and "Mara" begin to fight them off, the Knights decide to take Ben when they see Luke protecting him, and they kill "Mara" before they leave.
As for the galaxy at large, I believe we see that cold war end and the real war begin. Kylo begins his training with Snoke who is revealed to be Force User that has lived for several thousands of years. Finn becomes more embedded in the Resistance and finds a new young love with the Resistance. Poe does Poe things.

Rey is Luke's daughter. Lando takes Han's place as Chewie's co-pilot. Phasma hunts Finn like Boba hunted Han. Luke starts to rebuild the Jedi order. Force-ghost Yoda returns in puppet form. Rey and Ren confront Snoke together in the final film.
