Prior to game The Rant was talking about apathy, I can't get up for this game, glad I'm not going to the game. Many predicted low attendance and people exiting in masses during the second half. I went expecting a dead environment. I got the opposite. Set aside the reception that Miles got, the stadium was in the game for four quarters, few people left early and the place had to have had at least 90K to start the game.

Did you stay at home or did you go to the game and kept your disdain to yourself? You are just as negative now as you were before the game.

Fire away.

Most went under the guise of thanking CLM for his 11 years and to give him a proper send off... Not thinking it would be twisted by the media and this F King idiot as an outcry of support for the man.

Season-ticket holder.

Was going to stay home, but went to the game at the last second, thinking "what the hell, they have my money anyway."

Applauded Miles, thinking we were giving him a nice sendoff, and giving him earned gratitude for 11 mostly good years.

... then found out the media twisted that into some mandate for Miles to stay.

They thought it was Miles last game...if you have that game without everyone thinking Miles is gone, boos would have rained down with how terrible the offense looked, like what usually happens

These clowns were probably in their parents' basement playing with their Nick Saban blow up doll.

I was spending time with family. Didn't even watch the game. Have watched since halftime of ole miss. And I won't start until the offense doesn't look clueless. Sick of looking worse than high school offenses

Not about yards or points. It that we don't know what we are doing ever. Direct reflection of upper management.

I drove 500 miles and sat my arse in that stadium until Miles and the team left the field.

My daughter is an LSU graduate and we flew in for the game. I was able to make 3 games this year and it was her first this year. She couldn't have picked a better game to fly back to attend. It was loud.... Very loud and the crowd was into it the whole game. It reminded me of Tiger stadium back in the mid 80's where it was intense the entire game and nobody left early. I understand there were different circumstances surrounding this game, but it was nice for once, to have Tiger stadium be that night environment I've always known. My daughter attended every home game while at LSU along with multiple road trips. She said this was one of her all time favorites. As a dad, I was happy to experience good old Tiger stadium with her. Forever LSU. GEAUX TIGERS!

I agree with you. I don't know why I had put any faith in what the pathetic sidewalk fans on this board had to say and will know better than to give so many on here the credit they don't deserve next time.

I expected a dead, half empty stadium environment myself from what I read. I saw the same you did though. A stadium packed from start to finish of great and loyal fans that you would hope the majority of the LSU faithful truly are.

Its obnoxious listening to many on here who are either fair weather fans or sidewalk fans trying so hard to put down LSU like they think it helps the program to have chaos surround it. As if having a dead empty stadium is what will help LSU turn the corner. Recruits and the country would start to think we were as irrelevant as the posters on this board already think we are if they began seeing a dead atmosphere at TS.

I'll continue to come here for the entertainment value these Rantards provide though

Funny how people yelling "Les is still our coach, get over it" are still starting these threads.

90k? What game were you at? The upper decks were half filled at best. That alone probably put the total around 75-80k. Not to mention it was one of the most boring things I've ever watched.

the game was terrible; against a terrible opponent

quote:

few people left early
the game was close, though if LSU's offense had gotten more than 3 points on 3 trips to the redzone early in the game, this may have been different

the place had to have had at least 90K to start the game
not a fricking chance (and I was sitting on the west side to start the game, then moved to go sit with a relative on the east side. So I got a pretty good view of the whole stadium)

went to the game, tailgated all day as usual. Noticed the late arriving crowd, as the lots around CEBA were empty until about 4pm. It was a beautiful cloud free day, and I stayed until the players carried the coach off on their shoulders. The Tigers don't have to carry a near perfect record for me to enjoy a game. There are so few at home each year I enjoy them all. And if we suck during the game, I can always say I enjoyed the tailgate.

Clearly, the Rant does not reflect a majority of LSU fans; and many on here don't attend games anyway. The reality, was that fans in attendance for the game were pumped to beat the Aggies and cheered their support for Les Miles.

You will see the same mirrored attitudes at the Bowl game vs the Rantards.
