Why is everyone so pissed at Cam? I don't get it. What did Cam do to make everyone want him fired?

I'm just stopping you from providing the false narrative that Scott Rabalais, Charlie Hannagriff, Matt Moscona, negatigers, or anyone involved in the last 12 days of speculation about Miles job have made recruits jump ship. Franks was gone while LSU was ranked #2 in the country.

Aren't you a negatiger by definition? You wanted Miles gone (as do I).

Problem is that it takes Miles too long to be comfortable in his QBs abilities because he brings them along painfully slow. he doesn't use any of the cupcake games to work on the passing game. Doing things like throwing the ball 12 times. We should be throwing all over the field against rent-a-wins because there will be a time where we can't rely soley on the running game and it probably isn't a good idea to face that time with a under developed passing attack.

Considering his limited involvement in play calling, with Miles running the offense, I don't get it either.

Somehow, with some people, blame slowly migrates away from Miles and to the OC scapegoat at the time. Now it is Cameron's turn.

I know that it's fun to say that the O hasn't changed under Les, and that's why we think that he has his thumb on the offense. But the O has shifted over the years, and do we really know if Les is really taking control of the offense? Really?

Unlike some, I honestly don't know. Maybe my eyes are deceiving me and Cam really is calling the shots. Whatever is going on isn't working and needs to be changed.

It is probably more like Cameron calls most of the plays within an agreed upon framework or scheme of Miles' choosing with Miles calling plays from time to time. E.G. Certain packages, areas of emphasis

A former player recently said that Miles' exerts a lot of control in big games and in redzone situations. That anecdotal evidence jives with what I see when I watch. We go ultra conservative in big games and we shut things down in the redzone. Hence the redzones troubles we have had in the past from time to time.

It sounded to me that Les was told after the game that he could keep his job if he agreed to get his paws off of the offense. He agreed to the terms. We will see if Les is able to control his urges next season.

Wouldn't it be ironic if Les screwed up the offense and gets to keep his job and fires Cam because he wouldn't let Cam do it Cams way all along.

Not upset at Cam.. Not in the least! Just know it means nothing will change..

even though the typical is.. it doesn't matter who is OC.. miles will still have a hand on it.. but at least we would have hope maybe just maybe things will change.. with Cam.. we don't..

Nothing is ever going to change with Miles. it's been long enough and stubborn people going to stubborn people.

there's not enough creativity or play calls that put our guys in the best position to succeed IMO.. i just think we need an entire new culture established on offense.. if not a new HC.. then a new OC and Miles backs off.. but it's not happening.

But if Cam is allowed to implement HIS offense it would be totally new. If Les won't let his best friend with NFL experience run his offense then Les isn't going to let anyone run their offense.

Correct.

LSU did not run nearly as much 22 personnel before Jennings.

LSU decreased the use of 22 personnel after the first few games in 2015.

The scheme seems to change according the coaching staff's confidence in the QB.

Next year should be more open.

Telling the quarterback that the man sitting on your couch pitching for LSU may or may not be your coach would be a pretty bizarre recruiting strategy.

Cam might be telling the young man that he'll be leaving, but the next guy will run a pro-style offense.

IDK. I'm grasping at straws because I think Cam Cameron is a bad OC, and LSU should find someone else.

If Miles keeps CCC, I'm going to be really pessimistic on the chances of turning the offense around.

What if Les is changing 50% of the plays Cameron sends down. Is that Cam's fought and would Miles just do the same for the next OC? I'm just speculating. I've just heard over the years that Miles changes or overrides at least 50% of the play calls. I have that concern as well as the development of the QB. I do remember thinking about how bad Boyken at TCU was his first 2 years and how the light went off the third year. TCU friends of mine agree with that assessment of Boyken. Same really for Dak Prescott. I'm just hoping we can get Franks back and that the same scenario plays out for Harris as these other two QB's did. But that comes all the way back around to Cam.

They wouldn't let CC go till after national signing day especially if they have a shot at landing some big time recruits. I don't foresee any changes until post NSD

FWIW, Cam's contract is good through March 2016. Not sure when spring practice starts, however.
