Franks' decommitment from LSU may have been reactionary, as the questions regarding Miles' future did not sit well with the Franks family. Now that he received the overdue vote of confidence from athletic director Joe Alleva, that sense of uncertainty has been reduced.

The questions regarding Cameron's future at LSU will become the center of conversation, but the Franks' family will likely be reassured that the team of coaches they initially committed to will be in place for the foreseeable future. As long as Cameron is retained, it appears that the Tigers have a legitimate shot of bringing Franks into the fold. But time is running out, as Franks is set to enroll in college in just over five weeks.

If he does stay, how can anyone hold his arse to the fire and force him to let Cam coach?

Well-put.

Instead of "Three yards and a cloud of dust"

Alleva was forced to say "Three losses and we're proud of Les."

I don't care about this as much as I care whether he is an ACCURATE passer in the first place who can make top-tier reads.

If that's all true, then this is good news. Good enough.

Why change?

C'mon guys. No one can beat Alabama... Why even try? The media says so, and we are wise to embrace such a defeatist attitude.

CLM is a nice man. We should all be thankful.

Then you have a fundamental misunderstanding of where our offensive problems come from

The quality and depth of our QBs will dictate our success on offense just like in the past

I am willing to keep Cameron to get Franks and then lose Miles and Cameron after another lackluster year.

Why do people have a problem with a guy that runs an offense that had a 3,000 yard passer, two 1,000 yard receivers, and a 1,000 yard rusher? Is it not obvious that Cam was limited by his QB the past couple seasons? We've been behind the 8 ball since Perriloux, and have had a shitty run of bad luck with high profile QBs bailing on us. Why do people suddenly think Cam doesn't know how to run an offense? And before people chime in with "Les is holding him back," why didn't Les hold him back when Mett was here?

They're gonna go to tell him three things:

1. Miles is staying
2. Cameron is staying
3. He has a very legitimate shot at starting if he knows the plays and looks comfortable enough.

You realize the same issues plaguing Harris are the same ones that Franks has to work on? Can throw the deep ball but has trouble with all the short throws.

I would much rather get rid of Cameron and try to bring in the Mike Locksley/Dwayne Haskins or the dream Mark Richt/Jacob Eason combos. Hell, get rid of Cameron and try to go after Shea Patterson one more time

So you are saying the ONLY issue that LSU has on offense is a QB and depth? Has Miles or Cameron recruited AND developed a QB worthy of the NFL?
