If you're looking for a good tasting bottle in the low price end of the brown liquors, try Old Forester or Buffalo Trace.

Maker's on crushed ice is my go-to.

I like Pappy as well, but it's rare that I can find it.

I think 1792 is pretty underrated, imo.

knob creek single barrel is my all time favorite. I drink it neat.
one that isn't made anymore is old charter 12 year. if you can find that, pick up as much as you possibly can. that is one of the smoothest bourbons I've ever drank.

Four Roses Small Batch and Elijah Craig are great tasting bourbon around the $30 mark.

If you like crown, give forty creek a try. Not as sweet as crown, easier to drink multiple glasses of.

Benchmark is the GOAT, it's basically Pappy for less than $20 a handle. If you see the 1000ish page thread on the FDB you'll see me always talking about it!

Wild Turkey 101 and Buffalo Trace are my go to's. Hard to beat Buffalo Trace for the price. Every now and then I'll mix it up with Elijah Craig or Bulleit.

Jameson is my favorite moderately-priced sipping whiskey.

T. W. Samuels is my budget whiskey of choice.

If you like Evan Williams, you need to grab the single barrel version. It's very good.

For the money, Old Charter cannot be beaten. Unless of course, you can put up with Ancient Age.
