Been a season ticket holder for the past 17 years but this year the West Upper concession areas have been a complete and total clusterf#$@.

I realize the people are volunteers and I don't blame them at all. It's a thankless job. LSU needs to hire people to man these areas and get this crap corrected. I missed nearly a quarter waiting in line for one drink.

Anyone else feeling this pain the West Upper?

It's no better in the east upper. After the TD to make it 21-7, I took my daughter down to get a pizza. Got in line behind only 6 people. Didn't get back to our seats until 15 minutes left in halftime. Workers seemed completely clueless on how to do even basic things

I had the same problem on the west upper concessions. Everybody had to tell the guy working back there 2 and 3 different times what they wanted.

It was the same near south section 415 last night. Clueless how to do the job.

Concessions are run by church and school groups and other fundraising groups. Most of the kids in concessions probably have never held a job before.

They have to learn somewhere.

1/2 hour for a drink seems excessive but how many people were in line? If it was just you, they're brainless. If it was 100s, then it takes time.

Someone needs to invent a self serve fountain drink machine that takes credit cards.

I wasn't in the West Upper but the kid at the concessions close to me didn't even ask me for money. He just handed me my food and walked away. I had to call him back to give him my money. Normally I would be a dick and walk away but this stand was being run by NISH and I have to support my people even if they are idiots.

The east upper was terrible too. I went down right when the band was finished and there was 13:00 left on the clock. I got back to my seat with 2 hot dogs and a drink with a little over 8:00 left in the 3rd. They were out of just about everything else. LSU needs to realize that this isn't 1970 anymore and college football is a big business. I feel bad for the church groups because they are completely overwhelmed by something this big. It's time to contract it out to someone that can handle the volume. That would also open it up to better food options. The stale popcorn and nacho chips, rubber burgers and m&m's aren't good enough anymore. The whole thing needs to be overhauled. And while we're at it. It's completely unacceptable to still have the 1996 box TVs in the concourses.

The entire situation in West Upper is a cluster.

The concession lines before and during the game stretch all the way back to the wall. It took right at 45 minutes to get food before the game last night. There's nowhere for anyone to walk to get to their seats, the restroom or to concessions. Everyone is packed in like sardines. I have no idea how that design/setup was ever deemed safe.

Still had fun, just could be a lot better if someone with a brain handled this stuff.

a lot are volunteers, youth sports teams, churches, etc. but a lot are employed by compass group. I had no issue buying a water, went at half time, didn't miss a single play.

My seats are in the south upper 412 and its terrible in our area. I understand that these concessions are operated by churches and such. LSU should at least monitor each stand to see if these ppl are capable of doing it. It's great that they allow these organizations to make some money. But for the money we are paying for tickets and 6 dollar cokes and 8 dollar popcorn I don't think it's too much to ask for timely service.

Any of you Season Ticket Holders?
At the end of the season, you get this dandy little questionnaire e-mailed to you to fill out about, well, everything. From music selections to volume, to - wait for it - concessions.
Bitch a little on it. If enough people do, who knows...something may happen.
